Parent/Teacher Conferences

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, November 16 from 4-8 p.m. and Monday, November 20 from 9:05 a.m. - 2:35 p.m. The scheduler will CLOSE on Wednesday, November 15 at 3:00 p.m. You will be unable to book with the same teacher on both days. One time slot per family/per teacher. No appointments will be able to be scheduled after November 15 as teachers will need time to prepare. If you have any questions, please email Laurie Brown at

October Student Of The Month

Lindsay Welage was selected as the MHS/Kiwanis October Student of the Month. She was nominated by Mrs. Kristi Stephens. When nominating Lindsay, Mrs. Stephens said "Lindsay is an outstanding young lady. She is amazing and works really hard preparing for her future". Lindsay is involved in many activities including being the Director of the After-School Peer Tutoring Program, a SIBS member, a Student Government Member and a member of the American Sign Language National Honor Society.

College Visit Night

On Tuesday, October 17th, from 6-8 p.m., Mason High Schol will be hosting our annual College Fair. We will be hosting more than 170 schools from across the country and abroad. This is a great chance for all students to learn more about prospective schools and start the college search. It is also a great opportunity for seniors to ask more specific questions about schools they may be considering. Please take advantage of this wonderful event.

2018 National Merit

39 members of the class of 2018 broke the record for most number of Natinonal Merit semifinalists in a year from Mason.
In addition, 42 students were commended in the National Merit Scholarship program and 6 students recieved National Hispanic Recognition.

2 MHS Students Honored with AJC Human Relations Award

Two Mason High School students were recently honored for their inspirational stories of philanthropy and desire to help others. For 52 years, the American Jewish Committee (AJC) has honored outstanding student volunteers of all faiths who have demonstrated a passion for making our community a better place in which to live with the Simon Lazarus, Jr., Human Relations Award.

MHS Science Olympiad Team Completes Great Season

The Mason High School Science Olympiad team had a great 2016-2017 season. The Team attended six invitationals and placed in the top five at every one, winning more than 100 individual medals. 
They also placed first and second in the team division of the Cincinnati region for the eighth year in a row!  They also earned the opportunity to compete at the state level, and placed third in the state, missing a nationals bid by just two points. 

April Student of the Month

Ben Schutte was selected as the MHS/Kiwanis April Student of the Month.  Ben was nominated by Mr. Jeff Schlaeger, stating "The way Ben carries himself every day as a young man, who is both professional and spirited, he can be fun and engage others wihile simultaneously being tremendously respectful to all students and staff".  Ben is a member of the Men's Basketball Team, Black Hole, SIBS, and Young Life.  He will be attending the University of Cincinnati but is undecided on a major.
